I had just come from a signing. I had forgotten my mini stapler so I couldn't staple the check to the HUD.
At the store I asked to use the stapler. The clerk replied that people are not supposed to put metal objects in the UPS envelope because it screws up something and won't scan properly. At the very least, the companies will be billed a higher amount if metal is detected inside the envelope. |
