I take envelopes to the Fedex office, and I use those brown 9x11 envelopes with the clasps on them. I have to seal the envelope with tape as the Fedex guy said that the clasps get caught in the scanner and will tear the envelope. Post office told us the same thing. So I always tape the envelopes now instead of using the metal clasps - as soon as I have used the 1.1/2boxes of the envelopes I have now I will buy those that just seal instead of the ones with the clasps.
