SwiftSend is what the lender/title company use to send the documents. It uses a file warehouse to store the documents. You can then download them and print them using the SwiftView utility.
From SwiftView's website, the following is a description of SwiftSend:
How it Works
At the core of the Service are SwiftSend servers located at the LoanDocs Secure Server Site. These servers manage and track documents from submission to delivery and validate users who send and receive documents using the Service. Using a combination of encryption, user authentication, delivery notification, message tracking, and proprietary technology, SwiftSend servers provide a rock-solid foundation for the Service.
At the desktop, both document creators and document recipients enjoy easy-to-use, yet deceptively powerful, user interfaces. Once the Service is set up at a customer site, document creators have to do little more than print the document to the SwiftSend LoanDocs printer. The Service takes care of packaging the document or documents and sending them to the SwiftSend servers over a secure Internet connection. The Service then notifies the document recipient by email that a document awaits. Document recipients click an encrypted link in the email notification to access the SwiftSend server, retrieve the document, and view it using the SwiftView browser plug-in. If they choose, they can print the document on any Windows® printer.
Document creators can track the delivery progress of their documents from their SwiftSend LoanDocs Outbox. From the Outbox, they can see which recipients viewed the document and when they viewed it. They can also send it to additional recipients and delete documents that are obsolete. Business managers can access real-time reports of all document transactions. |
