You are right, you do not need to be a genius, but you need to have some good experience so you can hold your own at a table. But, you shouldn't be a moron (or maroon, I guess that's a genex variation) either. Just look at the questions, vocab, spelling and demeanor on this site. There are also some nasty issues that can arise at a table and if you are not experienced and confident a customer can smell it and the deal is dead. Why is it so hard to understand that experience and professionalism is a good thing and we expect to be paid fairly for it. |
