Gee, what do you Costco people know that I don't know

Best price I saw on that site was $5.69 ($56.90/cs). Except I'd have to join @ $55/yr or there is a
(undisclosed amount until I check out) surcharge. Isn't a Costco (or Sam's club) within 1/2 day's drive of here, so membership just isn't worth it.
