| A fee schedule narrows down the various scenarios of a signing. It covers type of assignment, travel and extended distances, time of day (business hours/after business hours), rush signings, tolls, etc. Therefore, the discussion with the scheduler doesn't determine the fee for the job....the fee schedule determines the fee for the job. The scheduler may genuinely not know the full details of a job. A fee schedule prevents you from undercutting your fee and stops them adding services after-the-fact, that were not part of the discussion (original order). Food for thought....... |
