I got one too!
Posted by CaliNotary of CA on 2/4/06 4:33pm Msg #94320
After reading this post, I copied and pasted the text of her email into a reply to the confirmation email they had sent me, along with my own note that said "This is exactly why I cancelled my signing with your company yesterday. Wow, what an unprofessional c*** you are" (no asterisks in the email I sent of course.

I got back the following reply:

"WOW! You are a real classy guy I can see that. This is not your concern. And name calling? How old are you anyway, 12? Your mouth is going to get you into trouble. I will find a way to make sure all of my clients add you to their DO NOT USE LIST. Email me again and I will press charges for harassment. Try minding your own business. "

So I sent back:

"Press charges, I dare you. I double dare you.

XOX"

And then got:

"You are a loser and just another notary that has nothing better to do but call people names.
You are not worth the time to spend emailing to. I will do what I have to. You are a joke. I am not a little child like you that gets pissed off on a dare. GROW UP! All of your emails are being blocked. They will also go in the trash. I guess birds of a feather.......

I won't be getting any additional emails from you so have at it if you wish. I won't be reading them. Go back to high school where your attitude and maturity belongs. I am above calling people names. Even though you deserve the grand daddy of them. I will be reporting you at the very least to the NNA. I have your email calling me names and I will advise them of your ethics as a state representative. They really should do better background checks. I am sure you are probably an ex-convict or something. Adults don't talk that way."

I also got a phone call from Britney's husband in between the emails. Apparently he's not an adult either because the F word was used quite liberally. It didn't last very long and was a bit rambly, but he wanted to know why I called his wife a c***, and he said (paraprhased) "nobody even cares about the f***ing notaries, but I'm trying to get them paid". Which pretty much confirmed to me that everything I've read about them on this board is true.

So now I'm being reported to the NNA. I guess I better become a member so they can discipline me accordingly. And now I need to go shopping for some boots so I can start quivering in them.
