Mozilla (Firefox) vs. IE

I recently changed my default browser to Mozilla and must say, I am quite happy with the Firefox browser. Today, when I went to download from Chase Secure Net with Firefox, I was unable to install the neccesary plug-ins. When I opened the site with IE, I had no problem.

Can someone out there explain this to me?
