If you do not set any parameters for receiving edocs you will run into big problems. I always give a drop-dead time to have those docs. With a very busy day ahead you can't sit and wait for companies to "get their act together." Glenn and Kelly are correct. To many phone calls, to much faxing, emails and just general chasing people to get the tools you need to do your job. Then you need to stop working for them. Once in a while I expect to run into problems. But each and every time you deal with someone and there are nothing but problems they have to Go! You have to cull your problem children out of the herd. Cater to the good companies.
The better organized you are before you even get a call is to your advantage. Know your areas very well, so when you take appointments you have at least a general idea where that zip code is located. A good deal of what we do comes with experience , trial and error. No one can teach these things to you. You have to pay attention to time, distance and how much you can do in a given time span. |
