This is not intended to be judgemental. I am of the "hey, whatever floats your boat" school. There was a recent post here about a CA signing where the bwr's apprearance was male and the DL said female. (might have been vice-versa but the issue would be the same) The CA acknowledgement form (which I understand is mandatory) has language for "he/she/they and his/her/their" I would imagine that one of these must be selected Other states, and most forms in loan docs have identical provisions. How do you handle this when the gender of single signer is unclear, or they claim a gender at varince with their ID? There are clearly more significant issues facing the world, at this time, but I believe that a discussion of this issue would be warranted on this type of forum.
