This month is National Autism Awareness Month. The rise in diagnosed cases of children born with Autism is considered to be of epidemic status. I encourage you to go here http://www.autism-society.org/site/PageServer?pagename=WhatisAutism and take a few minutes to read about the disability that is affecting so many families. One thing that surprised me about Autism is that when I actually started talking about it to people 9 out of 10 of them had a friend, family member, or coworker who had a member of thier family whether it be a child, cousin, uncle, brother-in-law etc that was on the Autistic Spectrum.
I would like to also point out to Floridians that love going on bike runs that there is one coming up in May. I am pointing this out because every motorcycle enthusiast I have mentioned the bike runs to always says "oh a bike run, where is it, when is it, how do I get the information". |
