Dee the ASA does 3 or 4 runs a year in different parts of the county and your right they do get news coverage.
Just to clarify Autism is not a disease it is a developmental disability. I understand how hard it is when you are affected by any of these things. You spend so much time trying to research and learn all the while dealing with it in your own home that it makes it hard if not impossible to devote even more time and emotional energy to look into other issues. I myself have more than one child that is affected so I will openly state that I don't know alot about other disabilities and diseases.
