| Melanie, you might try what I just did. I too had posted a msg over the past weekend, similar situation diff co.,,, got several helpful hints on how to "collect" my money. I didn't use any of the collection letters suggested, but I went to the website of the Secretary of State office in CA and they have a nice little "attach map" scenario that lets the non-responsive company you did the signing for know that you know exactly where to register a complaint AND you can send the e-mail with the mapquest print included with your notice of intent to register a complaint with that office within xxxxx days if you do not receive payment. The most amazing thing happened! I rec'd a somewhat nasty response today stating they were very dis-satisfied with my threatening e-mail, but in their msg they said they were putting payment in the mail today!! I too had tried nice reminder invoices, e-mails, phone calls, etc. no response, but this "link" got their attention. |
