Had a signing for a company that I do 3-4 closings a week for. Wife was signing dowers as vested owner. Her name wasn't on the HUD. Had the husband sign only. Got home and during QC I see the wife's name directly below the husbands typed through some preprinted language on the HUD.
This title company's HUD has 4 signature lines. On every HUD I've had signed for them, one borrower was on top left and one was on top right. On this particular HUD, they placed the wife directly below the Husbands signature on the bottom left.
You do this long enough where you know the paperwork like the back of your hand and then they go and CHANGE IT! ARGHHHH!!!! I've come to the conclusion that the only thing that doesn't change is the fact that they keep changing stuff and when I start to get too comfortable, I need to be more vigilant.
Thirty-five miles each way to get this fixed. OUCH!
