Changing out photo on profile-

I have tried more then once today to do this and yes I do know how to do it. I was able to delete the old photo but unable to receive confirmation message that the new photo has been uploaded on NOTROT. My thinking is perhaps they do some work on the server on Saturdays which interfers with this task not being doable at the moment, anyone with the same thought?
