As a California NSA I get signing packages from all over the country. Being a California notary I am required to use forms that have particular 'notary wording' at the top of the form. So, I find my self completing blank notary forms and attaching them to the document. I put a sticky note on the document in the notary section saying, "See attached California (form name) form for correct California notary wording." I have not had any callbacks about this. I recently had a signing where I had to complete 18 acknowledgment and jurat forms because the lender did not use California notary wording on the docs. Talk about making a long evening even longer! |
