If your auto insurance is not *specifically* a rideshare policy and you get in an accident, your insurer won't pay and will cancel your policy. Each Uber passengers will hit up your insurer with a medical claim....you will be up a creek without a paddle. A lot of Lyft and Uber drivers take a colossal risk in not getting a rideshare policy and saying nothing to their current insurer - hoping and praying that nothing will happen. |
