I'm way ahead of You! Policy (details withheld here) established last quarter - but not enforced. This year will be different.
Received 2nd call, and accepted job earlier this morning (different scheduler). And without "coaching"!  It's like days on the forum - some days we pass on puff and "love" and other times we might communicate a bit of frustration, not wanting to humor Anybody! Guess I was in the latter on Wed.
2 sides to every story. Bottom line is: I agree with the points presented here by my colleagues (and I'm also a yielding person when/where possible).
p.s. As one might expect from a good business person, the new requirements were made known continually (verbally and in writing, on every confirmation) before year ended; that's why I thought perhaps I had lost a good client. Who would arbitrarily throw out a hard ball to hurt a valued business partner? |
