Remember, your laser cartidge has two important components. The toner, yes, but it also has a drum that also has a "life". It also has an electronic component that may also wear out.
You can refill a toner cartridge several times from a cheaper kit before the drum needs replacing, but when it DOES need replacing NOTHING will revive it, it MUST be rebuilt (or replaced).
Try to track how many times you refil a cartridge (I number mine, and track in a spreadsheet), and how many times you can do it before the drum needs to be replaced. This will save you refilling a DEAD DRUM in the end, and wasting toner. It will also tell you when to plan on getting a new cartridge to replace the drum assembly or electronics. |
