That is really a good attitude. Working for less than 3 star companies not only keep their business alive, it ends up costing the NSA and all of us. Volunteering can actually be beneficial because you can network, pass out your card, perhaps that charity needs a notary...it's all good, and at the end of the day you made a difference. When my son and I volunteered at an animal rescue, it was rewarding, but also sad. We can't save the world, but every little bit helps. If you can't make money, or feel desperate about accepting every text that comes on your phone, volunteering is a good way to go and not feel guilty about saying no to deadbeat companies...you are busy helping others. |
