Just for clarification ('cause this is important), 'stamps' have nothing to do with it. We're allowed to charge 'per signature', period (although one can always chooses to offer a discount). I just didn't want to risk someone misinterpreting that...
Sounds like this is definitely worth more than $50. I've done a number of these over the years, sometimes with multiple visits. Sometimes I've also had to notarize a statement by their doctor, so I can be nice business.
I also agree with the others. We're not there to give any advice or interpret anything. As they all said, it's just the same process as any other notarization. If the signer(s) try to ask you about any specifics beyond basic notary stuff, refer them back to their attorney or adoption contact person.
