Sorry that I created a completely different thread for this topic, but this one wasn’t showing on my screen when I created mine. Please see my comments above about the new contact info and the fact that I did, in fact, receive a check yesterday.
I had only ever done one other job for them before, so I’m certainly not trying to completely come to their defense. I don’t know if this change in contact will provide a better experience down the road or not. They certainly should have reached out to everyone with a new contact info instead of leaving us hanging with bad phone numbers and email addresses.
But I will say that the person I contacted was very proactive in returning an email within 15 minutes. She didn’t have to respond at all, so the fact that she did leads me to believe they are trying to remedy the situation.
After 30 or 40 days, just start badgering a company so badly that even if they don’t pay others, they will pay you to get you off their back.
