Exactly right. It's in those situations when I try to remind myself that my notary commission doesn't come with a crystal ball to know when docs will arrive, what traffic will be, how fast or slow borrowers will want to (or be able to) sign, etc. etc.) Nor does it come with a magic wand to use to overcome all those obstacles and we can't bend the laws of physics. 
There's a point where we've made every effort and, given what we've been dealt, the rest is out of our hands. Sometimes accepting that helps me find some inner calm. [Operative word there = 'sometimes'... ] |
