...And the notary also has to remember they are 1 in about 100+ going that day. We are last on the list about what "we" want. It's about the customer, and trust me, they want to make them happy and get their loan out the door and back without a hitch. Unfortunately many pieces of the puzzle that have to come together, and it only takes one person or entity to drop that ball; the city late sending back a CO, the buyer didn't do their prelims on time, THE HOA didn't get their info back for the esstoppel, they added someone to tile, someone is married and kept it quiet, name misspelled, spouse lives in another country and decided to use their own POA instead of the lender sent one or stated they are single....... can be literally dozens of things that can go wrong behind the scenes.

You have an options here.#1 as them not to schedule you until last minute when docs are ready. (they move on). #2 Schedule you when they "assume" everything will be ready when they think it's closing.
Personally, I like to fill my schedule days ahead, so if they are late, something happens, I work with it for good business practices.
The more NSA's complain, get angry, rude and demanding, your work flow can stop on a dime. The last thing they need is to apologize to a NSA when in the crunches and then have to find a new notary. They will, but your on blacklisted as being difficult and undependable. jmo
