We're here to lend support to each other. I'm impressed that you picked up this skill so quickly. You never know how a signing is going to go. All kinds of things can happen to make a signing go sideways, and it's up to us to keep it on track. I believe you'll be more successful than most. The most important skill I believe in our business is the ability to listen well and learn, not just be the receptacle for words.
I had one yesterday that did not sign, it was a private money purchase, two loans, two parcels. I couldn't save it no matter what we did, and on Saturday there was no one available to borrowers to call. I will get my fee, but it was disappointing. I was with them for a full hour. Wife drove several hours to be on hand to sign. I won't be signing them for the next round, they will be up north.
I learned a lot, though. I've never had a signing quite like it. Nice people, very apologetic, but too many vagueries and unresolved issues for them to put ink to paper. |
