Having spent my entire adult life up to just this year living in East Asia (Japan 1 year, China 11 years), I have found networking with Americans to be awkward. Kind of like, I should be able to do it, but I have a totally different set of expectations on how networking interactions take place.
I have developed a greater respect for foreigners who migrate to the US and can successfully network with Americans. |
