Let's see ...hmmm... might have taken 10 seconds, 15 at the most to e-mail: We pay net 30 or net 45 or whatever. Bada bing bada boom. And move on. Instead, she spent a lot more time away from her "many important matters" to berate you for asking a simple basic business question. Can you imagine for example, a building owner chewing out a plumber who wanted to know when he'd get paid for a job, being told that the building owner had many more important matters to attend to and that they were dumping him for asking. Paleeze. In any case, her response is code for we don't pay. That much is obvious
The fact that she not only blew you off but also got her bloomers in a twist when you pursued one of the basics of establishing a business relationship (discussing when you could expect payment for your services) shows that SingleSource (real name?) is just another lowbrow SS. What's more important when establishing a business deal than discussing range of service and payment issues UPFRONT? Again, code for we don't pay. Or we'll pay when we're damn good and ready if then and don't bug me cos you're just a lowly notary. And we SSs have been operating like this for years and certainly are not going to stop now just cos some uppity notary wants something in writing. I also got a kick out of her expecting "a professional outlook" from notaries, but the reverse clearly doesn't apply to SingleSource. Heehee.
Additionally, she should go back to 8th grade English: "notary's" (singular possessive) for notaries (plural) in her little tirade. Whoa. All "notary's" should be lucky enough to be on her do-not-call list. |
