I was asked to resign a couple whose loan had actually already closed and funded. Not sure how, as we had to redo almost all the docs. They reported to me the first notary was 15 minutes late, brought the wrong documents, left to reprint at a local printer, and didn't have any idea what the documents were. Title told me that he also left all the notarial certificates blank and didn't stamp any thing. I can understand how someone gets away with missing a single stamp; I think we've all had the occasional error. But a whole loan package without a single notarization actually performed?
