So yes - you need the wording - because under the new law it is considered being "before me" if they appear online - they want it specified how the personal appearance as accomplished. But as FlaNotary pointed out previously, since you're doing a paper cert and not an electronic notarization or online notarization, just adding the words "via physical presence" should suffice. But I would not just disregard the whole thing. |
