Some states: get ready to notarize absentee ballots
Posted by  VT_Syrup of VT on 5/20/20 2:34pm Msg #620310
Some states require that absentee ballots be notarized, or signed by some other official witness. Some states require notaries to perform these signatures for free. This could turn into a full-time volunteer job this fall.

See this list:

My state merely requires the voter sign the ballot, but I'll be busy anyway; I'm an election official.
