Re: So what is your Covid screening script?

I just ask if anyone in the house is or has recently been ill. I notify them that I will be wearing a mask and if they want to conduct the signing outside, we can. I leave it to them if they want to wear a mask. Most do. A few haven't, but recently, not many. At one point in mid-June, we were down to a dozen or so cases a day so we were all feeling more relaxed. Now I think we're all sensitive to measures again.

We're up to about 9K cases in my county, currently about 200 more a day adding to the total (I know that sounds like a lot, but we're a county of 2.6 million, so it's actually not too bad). I laugh at the question on the script that wants us to ask if the signer has recently traveled to a region where Corona is known to be present. I'm like, "Okay, well that's anywhere in California south of Sacramento and west of the Central Valley."
