Well, wishing you all the best. You will not hit those numbers until years and years into your profession at the newbie wages offered up. Unfortunately, you fell into the barrel of pixie dust watching the videos and promise of that kind of "easy" income. It's not as easy as we make it. You have to know your profession and the loan and title industry pretty well to feel confident to answer basic questions and navigate through a loan package. People are different. If you get a cranky person 3x your age, he may not want to hear what you have to say being so young...so be prepared mentally for dealing with all personalities. I wouldn't quit your day job, and being so young, get an education, and get a job in a company that has benefits and a dependable income, 401 K and retirement. My opinion you are wayyyy toooo young for this at 21 and wasting valuable time doing this than going to get a college degree and a real, stable job. The money is not what they say starting out and it takes a long time to get going. Tell your Aunt and Grandma, the thought is good, the reality is not. This is a job for them, not at your age, jmo. Many companies in your level of expertise will only offer $50-$75.00 per closing and you will be waiting 45+ days to get paid IF they pay.
IF you decide to get your feet wet, read all you can on here, prepare yourself reality is not what the videos portray. |
