Could be an alabama marriage certificate notarization
Posted by FlaNotary2 of FL on 9/14/20 6:11am Msg #624463
Alabama essentially now allows marriage by mail. Any two parties simply sign the certificate, get it notarized and file it with any Alabama probate court. The parties don’t have to be Alabama residents - in fact, according to the Alabama attorney general, two people who live in different countries and who have never met each other could file a marriage certificate and be considered legally married under the laws of the State of Alabama.

In this circumstance, it’s just like any other notarization - you’re not actually performing a wedding.
