Yeah, I get those blast offers of $90 from Timios all the time. <delete>
However, they will pay sometimes. Got a call from them yesterday morning for same day, 40-minute drive one way and reasonable package (approx. 130 pages), no scan backs - fee of $250.
About an hour later, they call again for another refi for today. Again a reasonable package, 15-minute drive, no scan backs - fee of $150.
I don't bother with their blast offers. They call me a few times a year and we usually agree to a fee and they pay within a couple of weeks.
Note to newbies: Figure out what fees work for your business plan and stick to them. Revisit those fees from time to time to reflect changing conditions. There is NO need to accept whatever low fee is offered simply because "something is better than nothing" or for "the experience."
