| & flooding here last Thursday. I had 2 appts. & know I should have cancelled. My determination will ultimately be my undoing. Anyway, this signing was 25 miles out in a rural area. Roads were flooded many places but I made it through. Yesterday, I got a call from the hiring party (an attorney's office in MA), saying that they had made a mistake on the dates on the docs & would I go out again this Wed. I told them absolutely not! I don't think she realized what I had to go through to get this done & then tells me that it was a wasted trip after all that. I will be paid, of course, but am reminding myself to use better judgment. LOL |
