negotiating. Janet explained it much clearer than I could, we don't negotiate with the types of companies that you described in your last comment. I agree with you, that would be a waste of time. I don't even have snapdocs alerts set up. I have never signed up for the cattle call system of getting work, so far. Thankfully, I have not had to as of yet. Who knows, as things slow down I may have to, but I am pretty confident that my book of business will keep me going as it always has in the past without having to use snapdocs as my primary source of business.
However, if as you described in a previous comment, a good solid company (SS/TC/ESCROW) calls you for a signing and they hang up on you as you are negotiating (as you described), you need a little help in learning how to effectively negotiate where it's a win/win. I've gained several new direct clients in this covid climate that have agreed to either my fee or a fee we are both good with. |
