So now that Covid 19 is on a wild surge...

around the country what are you all planning on doing? It is clear that companies could care less if we get sick and die or even end up surviving after months in the hospital and huge medical bills accrue. Most companies don't understand why we ask for a measly $50.00 bucks more for a signing because of the risk which as we all know there is no amount of money worth our lives or our families or friends lives. I told a company on the last signing day of last month my fees would be higher that day. She said... can you tell me why? I just said I am sorry I am too busy. Obviously someone else jumped at the chance to take the job. Well for one it was 2 days before Thanksgiving, last signing day of the month (to make the 3 day RTC and a day to fund), it was a same day request, and we are in the midst of a Covid crisis. I am sorry but I am about to call it quits for the year. I will not be doing leave the docs on the door signings for a measly 100.00 bucks. Oh and I have seen some companies say we must wear a mask (duh), wear gloves and give the signer "new" pens and leave them with them (or have them use their own) yet they don't want to p ay a penny more to us... all the while they sit in their offices (safe) or homes and schedule us to risk our lives. Sorry I have to vent but I am getting fed up on the lack of concern, empathy or willingness of these companies to fork out a few more bucks all the while they sit comfortably and safely in their space reeling in the dough. So far all I've heard from these companies is ohhh "how much they appreciate us.." yeah...sure.

I am not sure whether to work at all or just say my fees are up through this pandemic because frankly one of my pet peeves in life is being used.

I am curious of how many of you are changing anything during these unprecendented times?
