Being an EMT, I was eligible for an early shot. I received the shots at a local hospital. For the first shot, there was no exterior signage about where to park or where to go for the shot. I had to go according to the phone call I had received. I might have parked illegally, the signs were so confusing I'm not sure.
For the second shot, there was exterior signage, but it was misleading. I got to the check-in spot, and was told it was the wrong place, that place was only for the 1st shot. I had to go to a different building for the 2nd shot.
Of course, once the vaccine is thawed and diluted, it only lasts for a limited time, so it's important that recipients be on time. So I suggest arriving 30 to 60 minutes early, depending on the size of the campus where you're getting it, and how heavy the traffic is.
Once I got to the right suite, the process was fast. |
