Hi Rick, first of all if you drop the 's' after http, your link will be live. Such as:
http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/fidelity-national-financial-announces-close-inhere-a-dynamic-mobile-friendly-guided-closing-experience-to-accommodate-simpler-more-efficient-hybrid-and-full-digital-real-estate-closings-301207577.html
IMO, giving the customer a chance to 'review' is always a good thing and is what was intended with providing a final CD before signing. I'm not sure how much a title company's program can affect late docs from a lender which sometimes is just a reality and a necessity. However, allowing the customer review time is always a good thing.
As for automation, the application/origination process is also taking huge steps utilizing the digital process especially with smart phones. These are all at a cost and requires significant volume to justify. Some digital processes have been around for a while and are only getting better. Yet, on the origination side there are still many, perhaps the majority still using paper. It's going to be a long haul for the majority to go paperless IMO.
Thanks for the update. |
