It's a Laser Jet Pro M402n. I don't know that the jam is because of the toner. It was strange. I was printing a 4 page document and after 3 pages it stopped and said jam in the cartridge area. I opened that door and everything else and didn't see anything jammed but the jam message won't go away. I've unplugged everything and then tried to start up but it still says there is a jam. I stopped in Best Buy and Office Depot and they don't have a clue. At this point, I think I'll have to purchase a new printer, but it looks like HP has added a security chip in their printers that won't allow you to use comparable cartridges. |
