Re: House printer and inverter

I've had inverters in my car. It's been explained to me that when the laser starts up it requires 2x amount of juice then it runs on the voltage listed on the printer. I think I had a 1500 pure sine inverter in my car and a Brother laser printer. It was low amp. I was constantly stopping on the highway cause the printer would jam. I gave it up long time ago. My thought is the inverter isn't strong enought to boot up the printer.
