Ideally, you should only take advice from other FL notaries whom you trust. (For me that wouldn't include the NNA...) I don't know FL notary law, but speaking generically from here, I wouldn't be concerned at all with what any other notary has done prior. Your concern should be on making sure the person appearing before you meets all the necessary requirements under your state and that your notarization includes all the required elements in your state - and nothing that isn't allowed. (Do I assume correctly you'll be doing this in person vs. remotely?)
For any more information, we'd need to know what exactly was done (or not) for it to be "partially notarized"... |
