"I worked on this file since the beginning of February and we received nothing. I’m sorry for your extra efforts. The file canceled, so we have no funds to pay you. You will also have to void your invoice."
I told her "Unfortunately I cannot do that. You hired me to do a job for which I did as requested so you can take a loss and pay me anyway. Please let’s not make this a big issue. I am a professional Notary and I do not work for free. You are a big company and I’m sure you have ways to accept losses.. (I know, I used to work for a title company)." |
