Agree. I have this happen very rarely and consider it the cost of doing business (since I am not willing to lose a direct client, usually). I am making a full professional fee that includes the potential for the occasional loss.

In my notary career, I have also had this same issue with signing companies when they don't get paid on a cancelled file. That's even worse since the fee leaves very little room for profit for the notary.
