I just hope lenders take this to heart. (I'm not holding my breath, though, because it seems that at least some seem committed to removing our role from the process (aside from RON closings, where they can control the process electronically).

I certainly agree with borrowers about this, however: "...most borrowers use and prefer digital tools prior to closing for the review of documents...". We probably all agree that those are by far the easiest signing appointments, with the most positive feedback by borrowers, as well. Plus, any issues or questions and be addressed in advance, without the challenges of the key people not being available.

Here's hoping this position wins out over the long haul...
