The prep date was typed in, about a week or so prior to the signing. The recorder told signer that the deed must reflect the date it was prepared. So since this had the date the signer appeared me, it was considered incorrect. Unfortunately, the signer had come to me, quickly showed the rejected paperwork and jammed it his backpack. Signed, paid and left. I have tried to contact him sending texts not hearing back. I just might take a ride over and try to talk to a supervisor.
