Charles Edward Donovan, III passed away peacefully at his home in Clayton, MO, on June 27, 2023. He was born on September 19, 1958, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. (Mary Wynne Mullen) Donovan.
Charlie is leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. Charlie lived a life dedicated to family, education, and professional excellence. Charlie graduated from St. Louis Priory and Georgetown University. He then embarked on his career in the Financial District of New York, until he returned to St. Louis in 1990. He was a driven and dedicated professional, who worked for several top Financial Institutions in the STL area and excelled in his field. His integrity and work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. His contributions to the financial sector will be remembered by those who had the pleasure of working alongside him. Most recently, Charlie was the owner of Clayton Mobile Notary.
Dear stepson of Barbara Nargle Grace Donovan, dear brother of Patricia Hirsch, Michael (Mary Noel) Donovan, Nancy (Christopher) Eberle, Jeffrey Grace (Lisa) and Kathleen Grace. The best Uncle ever to Asher, Gracey and Hayley Hirsch, Meghan, Michael and Molly Donovan, Laura Eberle, Tyler Bartz and Jonathan Grace.
As Charlie rests in eternal peace, may his spirit continue to inspire us to be kind, compassionate and selfless in our interactions with others.
Burial is private. A Celebration of Life for Charlie will be held on Saturday, July 8th at 12 Noon at the Old Warson Country Club in Ladue.” |
