So I have pretty much abandoned the platforms for any kind of hopeful work. That leaves GNW, which for me is very profitable because I answer my phone! Seems a lot of notaries in my area do not.
Six weeks ago, I performed a RM for a friend through Secured Signings LLC out of KS for $175. He insisted on having me as his notary, bless his heart. Just now received SD notice that payment will be made in 8 to 10 days.
You now can understand how frustrating it is to try to make a real living at this, you new notaries, and many of the seasoned ones, as while things seem to be picking up a little, I think I'm going back to living my best life in the wilderness and with good friends and family health issues. For me, GNW is where it's at these days.
Recently I acquired two felines, Chip and Daisy, from a neighbor who moved away from our canyon. They are great company and wonderful mousers. They have eliminated my chore of setting mouse traps around and having to empty the catch. Work life certainly has changed around here for sure.
