I'm sorry that happened to you. That clause was not explained to you correctly. It's referring to something totally different. I don't do loan signings anymore so I only purchase Notary E&O and I make sure I buy policies that renew when my commission renews. Yes, it's a large lump sum all at once but I don't trust myself to renew on time every 12 months.
