send a copy of the lender instruction to title and, if necessary, possibly talk to a manager. This is a lender instruction, not in title's purview. I get that they may get it signed as many lenders require despite it not being needed with individual borrower. However, in your case you have clear instructions and some lenders absolutely don't want it signed. The ol' rock and hard place... Use to be that if someone signed in error we just tossed the page and printed another. Then some lender attorneys in all their astounding wisdom decided everyone should sign to cover themselves AND everyone should sign each page. As others have said, it's been a long running problem, since the 70's or 80's!
